4x4 Driver Training
Vehicle Recovery and Equipment Course - Sat 25 August 2018

A guaranteed enjoyable, educational and informative day, this one-day course is a natural follow-on from the introduction to our 4x4 driving programme and introduces drivers to safe off-road recovery procedures and equipment as well as their responsibilities with regard to caring for the environment.

The course introduces participants to the correct selection, purchase, and use of recovery equipment such as shackles, snatch straps, slings, chains and snatch blocks. The day also covers instruction in other forms of recovery, including:

  • The use of pull straps and kinetic straps
  • Recovery Points
  • Jacking of vehicles - OEM, Hi-Lift and air jacks
  • Winching exercises, including winching accessories

So, join us for an educational, informative, fun and very 'hands-on' recovery training day and learn what you and your equipment are actually capable of!

Please Note: Recovery equipment is provided for use by participants during the course. If you already have your own equipment you are welcome to make use of it during training. This experience is suitable for people of all driving abilities.
