I have two ageing 4×4 vehicles that are kitted out with accessories for 4×4 overlanding into the wildest of the wild.
Both vehicles are in excellent condition, and have winches, 4×4 bumpers/bullbars, recovery points, raised suspensions, excellent all-terrain tyres, long-range fuel tanks, water tanks, roof carriers, drawer systems, dual-battery systems, seat covers, and certain other extras.
The only real necessary 4×4 accessories which the vehicles no longer have are a tent (rooftop or ground) and a fridge/freezer, but there is provision for both in each vehicle.
The two vehicles are:
1) 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser 4×4 (80 Series) Station wagon GX4500, petrol, manual, with a mileage of 425 000km
2) 2004 Toyota Hilux 4×4 Double Cab 3,0D EFI (5L Series), diesel, manual, with a mileage of 180 000km
Both vehicles are in excellent engine, body and running conditions, They have been babied, run coolly, and do not chew oil, lose water or overheat, and are comfortable to drive in, as well as being ultra reliable.
I am asking R155 000 for the Land Cruiser and R110 000 for the Hilux.
Depending on which vehicle sells first, I shall keep the other for my own continuing 4×4 needs, as I really don’t need two such vehicles.
I would rather these vehicles go to committed and enthusiastic members of the 4×4 fraternity, and in particular, to any possible members within the FWDCSA.
On request, I shall supply individual details of all the accessories, as well as numerous photos of each vehicle. Please see attached initial photos.
